Last week was the store's one year anniversary and I thought we could revisit the cocktail that Aaron made for our opening, "Fern's the Word." A take on the prohibition era cocktail, The Last Word, which is typically a gin based cocktail with green chartreuse, maraschino liqueur, and freshly pressed lime juice, Aaron's version for the store's drink included a St. Germaine foam in place of the maraschino liqueur. If memory serves they go down easy and the thought has me craving one now.

1.5 oz. plymouth gin
.75 oz. green chartreuse
.25 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
foam made with st. germaine and rhubarb bitters

Combine first three ingredients. Shake with ice and serve over foam. Garnished with wild violets
