Tillandsia Tectorum Ecuador

from 10.00

Tillandsias, also known as "air plants", are amazing plants that do not require soil to grow. Most tillandsias are found in semi-tropical regions of Central and South America, Mexico and the southern part of the United States. They absorb water and nutrients through their leaves and the roots are simply anchors.

The Tillandsia tectorum ecuador is a very rare air plant. They get their unique fuzzy look from an abundance of trichomes which also make them one of the most drought-tolerant air plants, and one of the few that can tolerate full sunlight.

Tillandsias are stunning as standalone pieces and are ideal for living art creations such as aeriums, mounts, and even floral arrangements. With proper care, they can last for years and some may even bloom.

Tillandsia care instructions included with plant.
